FediDay takes place at Rungestraße 20 in Berlin-Mitte, in a shared courtyard: at c-base, on the rooftop terrace, and at ETI, the European Theatre Institute, a drama school with its own stage.
FediDay runs from September 11 to 13.

Rungestraße 20 can be reached by S-Bahn and U-Bahn to Jannowitzbrücke (S3, S5, S7, S75, S9, U8, Bus 300) or U Heinrich-Heine-Straße (U8, Bus 165, Bus 265).
From Hauptbahnhof / Zoologischer Garten: S3, S5, S7, S75, S9 directly from Hauptbahnhof via Alexanderplatz to Jannowitzbrücke
From Ostkreuz / Warschauer Straße: S3, S5, S7, S75, S9 heading west via Ostbahnhof to Jannowitzbrücke
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER): RE20 / FEX to Hauptbahnhof, then S3, S5, S7, S75, S9 heading east via Alexanderplatz to Jannowitzbrücke
From Gesundbrunnen: U8 via Alexanderplatz to Jannowitzbrücke, or S2, S25 via Nordbahnhof to Friedrichstraße, then S3, S5, S7, S75, S9 heading east via Alexanderplatz to Jannowitzbrücke
From Südkreuz: S2, S25 via Yorckstraße to Friedrichstraße, then S3, S5, S7, S75, S9 heading east via Alexanderplatz to Jannowitzbrücke
For travel within Berlin, a ticket for fare zone AB is sufficient. For travel from BER Airport, a ticket for fare zone ABC is required, as the airport is outside AB.
At c-base, payment is by cash only. This also applies to day tickets and merchandise.
There are ATMs for cash withdrawal in Brückenstraße and at Jannowitzbrücke station.
In the surrounding restaurants and shops, payment can usually be made by both cash and card.
All beings are welcome at FediDay. Whether you’ve been running your own instance for years or are just hearing about ActivityPub for the first time: No prior experience with the Fediverse is required to participate. Come by, listen, and ask questions.
For FediDay, the c-miteinander of c-base and the Mastodon Server Covenant apply.
No one will be photographed without consent.
Everyone will receive a name badge to wear. If you do not wish to be photographed, attach a red sticker to it — this then applies to everyone.
If members of the audience are recognizable in a photo, please ask for permission first.
The talks will be live-streamed and recorded on c-tube, c-base’s PeerTube instance.
Only the speakers will be filmed. Otherwise, the photo policy also applies here.
c-base is a space station for adult life forms — we are unfortunately unable to accommodate young children and pets such as dogs at c-base, on the rooftop terrace, or at ETI (§ 12e BGG remains unaffected).
There is no childcare and no changing facilities.
Drinks will be available on-site.
For food, the surrounding streets offer a wide selection of Asian, Turkish, German, and other restaurants and snack bars.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
If you are ill, please stay at home — out of consideration for everyone else.
Masks may be worn at any time. A limited number of FFP2 masks will be available. Rooms that cannot be ventilated will be equipped with air filters.
Berlin in September is usually mild during the day, but it can get cooler in the evening (15°C to 20°C), especially on the rooftop terrace. A warm layer is recommended.
